In sixth grade I won an award for writing excellence, which of course means nothing now. But I am really excited to write this Substack because I came up in the days of blogging and I remember the freedom I felt writing my blog Darcy Dates. Writing and podcasting behind a pay wall so I can go back to the good old days of dancing like nobody is watching. It’s like my very own OnlyFans. Only better. Because it’s the OnlyFans of inside my brain. Which can be a very entertaining place.
